My name is Alexander Lindstrem, I was born in Moscow in the early 80s, grew up in Vienna, studied in Los Angeles, and spent many years of my adult life in Dubai. With the Scandinavian surname of my half-Swedish, half-Finnish father and the half-Korean, half-Russian features inherited from my mother, I have come to embrace a cosmopolitan lifestyle, feeling at home between everywhere and nowhere.
My studio is based in Vienna but I board a plane like an Uber and am available for hire worldwide.​
I am fluent in English, German, and Russian.
Studying at the "Theatre of Arts" in Los Angeles for 4 years in the late 90s, honing skills in front of and behind the camera gives me an unfair advantage when working with models - as I have experience on both sides of the camera. Additionally, being raised by a fashion designer mother always greatly helped me to quickly discern good from bad aesthetics.

I have had the privilege of learning from esteemed photographers such as Peter Coulson, Peter Hurley, Lindsay Adler, and Karl Taylor. With the highest diploma in Lighting Masterclass from Karl Taylor, I joined the official Peter Hurley Headshot Crew and am a member of Hahnemühles President Club with a certified Fine Art Print Studio. I also completed my makeup artist certification with "Gianni Colores" for a deeper understanding of a very important process in portrait photography. Additionally, I hold the FAA drone license and an international press pass if required. My commitment to learning and seeking new challenges never stops.

My personal photography style is a blend of sensual and luxurious aesthetics inspired by Tom Ford's Gucci era, infused with storytelling, and a deep focus on captivating eyes, provoking interest in a tasteful manner. I don’t like the current "trashy" trends of making models look unattractive and I have zero intentions following them. #cantbuytaste
