Light Comparison Tool
I have built this "tool" to help models, photographers, and myself decide on the light we would want. The modifiers range from 10 euros to 10.000 euros and can be compared without bias with almost no variables as I chose to use a static subject to minimize inconsistency. Broncolor Para shots will be added separately. Further details are below, basically, just pick modifiers and compare them...
Comparison conditions: all shots taken on RF 50mm 1.2 L @ f5.6, iso 100, 1/200 flash white balance,
shot into capture 1, exported thru LR from RAW to Jpeg, no sharpening, no processing, AdobeRGB color.
Subject approx. 1m from the background, and 135cm away from the subject's nose to flashbulb distance
Bear in mind that some modifiers like "Beauty Dishes" would not be placed at such great distances to the subject but have been kept at the same distance as other modifiers to keep direction, distance, and angle to match across the board. Exposure has been adjusted accordingly, the flash power is stated in the title next to the Light Modifier name (the number in brackets) to help you understand the power loss and gain.
